A Bard sometimes has to travel light, but he never has to fear not being able to pracice his trade.
This spell summons one musical instrument of your choice. This instrument appears in your hands, at your feet (your choice), or in a square within range. The instrument is typical for its type. Only one instrument appears per casting, and it will play only for you. You can’t summon an instrument larger than 5’ by 5’ by 5’.
If you summon an instrument into a square occupied by a creature other than you, the instrument is summoned above it, in thin air. It immediately drops down, dealing 1d6 points of nonlethal damage to everyone in the square as it lands. This is an exception to the rule that conjuration spells cannot create unsupported objects.
Augment: For every two additional spell points you spend, the nonlethal damage dealt by the instrument increases by one die (d6) when it drops on to a creature.
