A creature native to the less explored parts of the world appears.
This spell summons one small monkey. It could be used to attack your enemies, but considering its lack of ability when it comes to that, most casters use it to spring lethal traps. The creature appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. As a free action, you can mentally direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions. The creature acts normally on the last round of the spell’s duration and dissipates at the end of its turn.
Augment: You can augment the spell in one or two of the following ways:
If you spend 2 additional spell points, you can instead summon a bison or a leopard.
If you spend 4 additional spell points, you can instead summon an ape or a lion.
If you spend 6 additional spell points, you can instead summon a dire ape or a tiger.
If you spend 8 additional spell points, you can instead summon a dire lion or a rhino.
If you spend 10 additional spell points, you can instead summon an elephant or a girallon.
If you spend 12 additional spell points, you can instead summon a dire tiger.
If you spend 4 additional spell points, you can cast this spell as a standard action.
