“You use the residual energies of the teleportation spell to fuel your own.”
This spell must be cast in response to another creature finishing casting a Conjuration (Teleportation) spell that transports that creature to another location. You are then instantaneously teleported along with the creature, so that your relative positioning is maintained. If the creature does not wish for you to travel with it, it may attempt a Will save to negate your spell.
You can bring along objects as long as their weight doesn’t exceed your maximum load. You cannot bring along creatures other than yourself1.
If the travel would cause you to arrive in a place that is already occupied by a solid body, the Piggyback spell fails.
Augment: If you spend 6 additional spell points, this spell does not allow a Will save.
Note that the Piggyback spell is a valid target for another instance of the spell. Rumor has it that Teleportation Konga is a sport commonly practiced in Wizards’ celebrations.↩
