The evoked orb can be hurled or used to touch enemies in melee. It provides illumination as a candle.

Used as a melee weapon, it deals 1d6 points of damage on a successful touch attack. As a thrown weapon, it can be hurled up to 120 feet (with no range penalty), and deal the same damage on a successful ranged touch attack. Immediately after throwing the orb, another appears in your hand.

Each attack you make reduces the remaining duration by 1 minute. If an attack reduces the remaining duration to 0 minutes or less, the spell ends after the attack resolves.

An eldritch orb leaves scorch marks on creatures and surfaces it strikes, but doesn’t ignite anything but the most flammable materials (such as oil, paper, or dry straw).

Augment: For every 3 additional spell points you spend, this spell’s damage increases by one die (d6).
